Doctoral Degree In Education (DBA - E)

The Doctoral Degree in Education equips learners with in-depth knowledge and analytical capabilities to address complex challenges in education and business. Participants explore advanced research methods alongside core disciplines such as managerial economics, financial, and marketing management. Graduates will be prepared to drive policy change, lead organisations, and contribute to academic and practical educational advancements.

Upon completion of the program, students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to design and apply qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to investigate complex issues in educational and business contexts.
  • Apply economic concepts and analytical tools to assess market conditions, business performance, and decision-making within educational organisations.
  • Evaluate and apply financial strategies to optimise educational institutions and organisations' budgeting, investment, and funding decisions.
  • Develop and assess strategic marketing plans to promote educational services and address the needs of various stakeholders and learners.
  • Critically examine ethical dilemmas and integrate socially responsible practices into organisational policies and leadership decisions.
  • Analyse and interpret economic theories and policies to understand their impact on education systems and organisational sustainability.
  • Apply leadership models to influence positive change, enhance team performance, and navigate complex challenges within educational institutions.
  • Employ data-driven and ethical decision-making models to resolve strategic issues and improve operational efficiency in educational and business settings.

Entry requirement

Master’s or an equivalent recognized academic title in Education.
Master’s or an equivalent recognized academic title in any discipline with over five years of managerial and/or business experience
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent recognized academic title in any discipline with over eight years of managerial and/or business experience

English Language Proficiency:

Our programs are conducted in the English language. As such, you must demonstrate proficiency in the English language by submitting one of the following test scores during the application process:

TOEIC Overall: 555+
PTE Overall: 50+
Duolingo Overall: 90+

English Proficiency Waivers: 

The English proficiency test is not required for the following candidates:
– Native English Speakers, OR;
– Applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e. High School Diploma or IB), OR;
– Applicants having completed their undergraduate or graduate studies in English, OR;
– 2 years of work experience in an organization where English is the primary language of communication.
